For crispy rice balls with tomatoes, first peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the tomatoes and cut into small cubes.

Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onions. Add the rice, fry until translucent and deglaze with the wine. Add the water and cook until soft. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, add the tomatoes and stir in the tomato paste. Add the cheese as well.

Form the rice into balls (let them cool down a little beforehand). Coat each ball first in flour, then in beaten egg and finally in breadcrumbs.

Fry in enough oil until crispy. Serve crispy rice balls with tomatoes.
