Grease a 22 cm diameter cake pan well and place an almond in each cavity at the bottom of the pan.

Wash the apricots and cut them into small pieces. Cream the butter and gradually beat in the eggs, juice and zest of one lemon and sugar. Strain the curd and incorporate. Sift flour and baking powder and fold in portions at a time.

Mix apricots, chopped almonds and vanilla flavoring into the batter and carefully pour into the bundt pan. Smooth the dough on the surface.

Bake in the heated oven at 200°C for one hour. Remove the finished cake from the oven, let it cool briefly, turn it out onto a cooling rack and let it cool completely.

Dust the curd cheese cake with powdered sugar.
