A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Mix sugar, flour, butter and the 5 eggs together.

Add 1 sachet of baking powder and mix well (preferably for 5 minutes on high speed).

Soak the raisins in the rum beforehand (for one night) (this gives the aroma at the beginning).

Mix the curd, lemon flavoring (or the juice of 1/2 an unsprayed lemon and the grated peel), vanilla sugar and the preserved raisins with the milk.

Spread the dough evenly on the bottom of a cake springform pan. Pour the curd mixture on top.

The cake in the preheated oven (200 degrees /Umluft only to 180 degrees ) form and bake a good 1 hour.

Tip1: with a knitting needle, Schaschlickstäbchen … check whether the cake is really ready (then no dough should stick to it).

Tip2: cool the cake only very, very leisurely, otherwise it will fall into each other!

However, it is a real calorie bomb!
