Instructions:

Sift flour with baking powder on a baking board and gradually add the remaining ingredients. Knead into a smooth dough and let rest in a cool place for 1 hour. Roll out the dough to the thickness of the back of a knife and cut into 5 x 5 cm squares. Put a dab of jam on top and shape into croissants. Mix egg yolk and milk and brush the croissants with it. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approx. 10 – 15 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with a little sugar.
