Instructions:

For the curd poppy seed cake, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Quickly knead the ingredients for the short pastry together and roll out to the size of a springform pan (Ø 26). Line the pan with baking paper and place the dough in it.

For the filling, prepare the pudding according to the instructions, then stir in the butter until it melts, then stir in the poppy seed mixture and the mascarpone well and let the filling cool down a bit. Then spread the filling on the dough and bake for about 50 minutes.

For top layer, mix all ingredients (without egg whites) well with a mixer. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in, then spread everything together on the poppy seed cake.

Now bake the curd poppy seed cake again for about 30 minutes. If the surface darkens too quickly, cover with foil.
