For the eggnog cake, preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the eggs until frothy and stir in the sugar. Mix in oil and eggnog. Sift the flour with baking powder and mix with cornflour. Fold the flour into the egg mixture.

Pour into a cake pan (28cm) greased with butter and dusted with flour and bake the eggnog cake for 45 minutes.
