A delicious mushroom dish for any occasion!

Clean the mushrooms dry and leave them whole or cut them into pieces, depending on their size. Chop the parsley.

Heat an empty pan. Fill in the mushrooms and fry them heartily while turning them. If they draw juice, evaporate it. Otherwise, add a quarter of the clarified butter and fry briefly. Now add the soup or white wine and cook the mushrooms for five to eight minutes. Finally, season with salt and pepper and stir in the parsley.

In the meantime, toast the bread slices briefly on both sides in the remaining clarified butter. Arrange on plates. Turn the ham slices in seconds in the drippings to the other side and cover the bread slices with them. Arrange the mushrooms and their liquid on top, so that the toasted bread slices become soft once again and are soaked with delicious jus.

Cover the slices of bread with slices of ham and cheese and bake in the oven until the cheese has melted. Arrange the mushroom ragout on top. Bacon cubes are also delicious and can be fried in a little clarified butter before being placed on top of the mushroom slices.
