For the Fiakerbiergulasch brown the onion in fat, add some paprika, vinegar, the salted meat cut into cubes.

Season with caraway seeds. Add a little beer. Let the meat stew until soft. Mix flour with a little water and beer and add to the meat.

Let it boil away. Add beer again. Mix the remaining paprika with hot fat and add to the goulash just before it is done. Cut frankfurters at the ends, fry. Prepare fried eggs.

Cut the pickled gherkins into a fan shape. Arrange the finished goulash, sausage, fried egg and pickled gherkin in a pleasing way and serve. A slice of good brown bread goes well with Fiakerbiergulasch.
