For the fig liqueur, wash and dry the figs and cut them into eighths. Put them in a large glass, add the cinnamon stick.

Add the rock candy and pour the rum over it. Close the jar and let it stand for about 6-8 weeks. Swirl frequently so that the sugar dissolves.

Then strain through a hair sieve and bottle.
