Rinse the gutted ready-to-cook red mullets (fishmonger) and rub dry thoroughly with kitchen paper. Season all over with salt and season with pepper.

Preheat the plate, cut the lemons into slices, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and put flour on a plate. Turn the fish in it to the other side and tap so that excess flour falls off. Next, fry the red mullets in the hot oil form and cook for about two min on each side until crispy golden brown. Bring the fish to the table on the spot on the heated plates. Garnish with the lemon slices.
