A bean recipe for every taste:

Soak the beans in enough water for at least 12 hours, better one night. The next day, in the same water (it should be about 5 cm above the beans), gently roll in 2 hours until soft.

Peel and finely dice the onion. Rinse the bell bell pepper, cut it in half, clean it, dice it finely. Peel the garlic.

Heat the oil and fry the onion cubes in it, stirring until golden brown. Then add the paprika and squeeze and add the garlic. Drain the beans and add them. Season with salt, sugar and cumin.

Served with long grain rice, black beans are a vegetarian main dish. Traditionally they are served with Caracas beef.
