For the garlic sticks, knead the flour with yeast, salt, basil (or pizza seasoning) and water into a dough. When the dough comes away from the bowl, the consistency is right. Then let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Press the garlic and mix it with olive oil to form a paste. Knead the dough again and portion it. Roll out the portions into patties and brush with the garlic paste. Then roll up the patties into one stangerl each. Brush the sticks with water and sprinkle with caraway seeds. While the oven is heated up to 180 °C, let the Stangerl rise again briefly. Then bake the garlic sticks for about 20 minutes.
