Maybe your new favorite bean dish:
Clean beans. Blanch for 1 min, drain and plunge in iced water, drain well. Mix with oil and juice of one lemon. Preheat stove to 180 degrees. Scatter pine nuts on a foil-lined baking sheet and toast until golden brown, about 5 min.
Bring tomato juice, garlic and Tabasco to a boil in a small heavy saucepan. Gently simmer over low heat in an open saucepan for about 8 min, until liquid is reduced by half.
Cool. Arrange beans on a serving platter and baste with tomato mixture. Garnish with pine nuts and serve on the spot.
