For the green ribbon noodles with smoked bacon, cut the onion and start to roast it in a pan with some canola oil. Cut the smoked ham into small cubes, also add to the pan and roast with the onion.

Cook the ribbon noodles in plenty of salted water until al dente, then strain and add to the pan with the diced ham and roasted onion. Season with salt and pepper, mix well and serve the green ribbon noodles with smoked bacon.
