Lime mayonnaise:









Instructions:

1. cut potatoes into slices 1 cm thick.

2. make potatoes in a saucepan with boiling hot water 5-7 min. so that they are still firm. Remove potatoes with a slotted spoon and drain well.

Lay out a tray with aluminum foil. Place potato slices on the aluminum foil.

Brush potatoes with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped thyme. Season with salt and pepper.

Bake potatoes under a heated broiler over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning once to the other side.

In the meantime, cook the lime mayonnaise. Mix lime zest, mayo, lime juice, salt, garlic, paprika and pepper of choice in a small baking bowl until well blended.

7. dust the hot potato slices with a tiny bit of paprika powder and serve on the spot with the lime mayonnaise.

Tip: You can also pour the lime mayonnaise over the grilled potatoes form right before serving.

This dish is ideal for grilling and barbecue dishes, as the potatoes can be prepared in both ways.
