For the guacamole, remove the skin and pit from the flesh of the avocado. Place in a bowl with the finely chopped shallot and garlic clove.

Cut the tomato into small cubes and stir into the avocado mixture with the juice of half the lemon. Either mash the mixture with a fork or mix it with a spoon to get a creamy consistency.

Finally, season the guacamole with salt and pepper and enjoy with a slice of bread.
