For the Gugelhupf with raisins, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Separate the eggs and gradually add the yolks and beat until stiff. Beat the egg whites and when they turn whitish gradually add the sugar and beat until stiff. Mix in spices, raisins and rum, add milk, wine and rum and stir egg whites and flour alternately into the butter mixture.

Pour the Gugelhupf with raisins into a prepared pan and bake at 165°C for about 55 to 60 minutes.
