Instructions:

For the Hascheeknödel with sauerkraut first prepare the dumplings. For this, boil the potatoes, peel them while hot and press them through the press. Knead with milk, egg, flour and salt to a dough.

For the filling, grind ham, sausage meat and onions. Heat the fat and fry the mixture in it for 10 minutes, stirring. Season with marjoram and pepper and mix with chopped parsley.

For the sauerkraut, heat lard and add the cabbage with a little liquid to the hot fat. Season and cook for about 20 minutes.

Form dumplings from the potato dough and fill them with the hash mixture. Simmer in salted water for ten minutes. When the dumplings rise to the surface of the water, they are ready.

Arrange on the sauerkraut and sprinkle with some chopped parsley.
