fat and milk in a saucepan become lukewarm. It must not make, otherwise it will curdle. Crumble the yeast into a suitable bowl. Add raisins, wheat germ and about half of the graham flour. Pour in the fat milk. Add salt and spices. Add the remaining graham flour and knead in the wheat flour. Rise the dough in a warm place in the kitchen for about 20 minutes with the lid closed until doubled in bulk, then knead heartily repeatedly and shape into loaves. Place these in greased, smooth bread pans or on baking sheets and let rise for 40 min. Then place the loaves in the heated oven. When the loaves are baked, remove them from the molds and cool them under a dish rack.

Baking time: about 30 min.

Heat: 200 °C Celsius **

Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!
