A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Chop walnuts and pistachios, grind almond kernels and mix the whole. Defrost the puff pastry. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line the bottom of a baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil and grease the sides and bottom. Melt butter. Roll out each pastry sheet to double the size of the mold and cut in half. Place one sheet of dough in the pan, brush with butter and sprinkle with the nut mixture. Repeat this process until all the pastry sheets and nuts are used. Finish with a pastry sheet.

Bake the give in the oven on the lowest rack for 15 minutes and then on the middle rack for 30 minutes until golden brown. Heat the honey and season with the orange juice and the juice of one lemon. Pour the syrup over the finished cake and leave for one night. Cut the honey-nut slices into rectangles or squares, if necessary.

Tip:

Black, unsweetened tea or light green tea tastes best with this.
