Instructions:

Boil the tamarind in the water for 15 min. Then squeeze out as much juice and pulp as possible by pressing the tamarind, provided that necessary as well a few times, through a sieve. Mix all other ingredients with the juice. Stir well and let stand for 15 minutes. Then filter through cheesecloth and set aside to cool. Just before serving, dilute the juice with the iced water. Fill each glass with crushed ice and garnish with mint leaves and a slice of lemon.
