Instructions:

For kadayif, pull apart dough strands in a large bowl. Pour liquid butter over them and mix gently until evenly distributed.

Spread half of the mixture evenly in a shallow round baking dish (casserole dish, tart pan, about 25 cm dia.) and press down. Spread pistachios or almonds or nuts and raisins evenly over the top.

Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and place on top or spread the yogurt with a spoon. Pour the remaining dough threads on top, press down again.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes, until the threads begin to turn golden brown.

Remove the kadayif immediately so that they do not become too dry and drizzle with cooled sugar syrup.
