Instructions:

Try this delicious pie recipe:

1. for the pie base, knead all ingredients together, wrap dough in cling film and rest for 1 hour.

2. preheat oven to 180 °C. Butter a tart pan (O 22 cm). Roll out dough between plastic wrap to 3 mm thickness and line the pan with it. Press the edges of the dough smooth, place a piece of aluminum foil on top and press gently all around.

Bake the tart base in the oven (middle shelf) for about 15 minutes until light.

Remove from the oven, remove the foil and allow the pastry base to cool. 3.

For the filling, finely grate lime peel, squeeze fruit. Bring lime juice (approx. 150 ml) to a boil and cool to lukewarm.

Add all the other filling ingredients and stir with a whisk until fluffy.

4. fill the pre-baked pastry case and bake in the oven (middle shelf) for about 45 minutes, the filling should be set like a pudding. Remove the cake from the oven and cool in the pan.

Reduce oven temperature to 150 degrees for the snow topping. Whip egg whites until semi-solid, pour in granulated sugar and whip until stiff. Pipe beaten egg whites onto tart in dome shape, using pastry card to raise peaks. Bake in the oven (middle shelf) for about 15 minutes.
