Knead all ingredients well together, then rest the dough covered for 30 min. Pro tip: The ingredients of the following dough are also suitable for covering and can be added during the resting time.

Dough:

Knead all ingredients together leisurely with the steamer until the dough is well smooth. Next, run briefly at high speed. Dough resting time: 10 min.

Almond-chocolate mixture:

Work with the dough until smooth. Then shape the dough, place in a buttered stollen cover (also free on the baking sheet) and bake in approx.

55 to 60 min at 190 °C in a heated oven. After baking, brush the still warm stollen with melted butter and roll it carefully in household sugar. A day later, the finished Stollen is finished with powdered sugar and packed if necessary. It should then stand for three more days before cutting.

Serving:

Kids usually don’t like raisins, much less candied lemon peel.
