For the cabbage gröstl, wash the potatoes a little, peel them and cut them into cubes of about 1 cm. Cook in a pot with salted water until soft. Now cut the cabbage into fine strips.

Take the sausage out of the package and cut it into fine cubes as well. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the onion until it is translucent.

Then add the cabbage strips and fry briefly. Add the sausage cubes and fry. Now press in the garlic cloves. Strain the boiled potatoes and add them to the pan. Mix everything carefully.

Season with salt, pepper and caraway. Serve while still hot and decorate with herbs such as dill.
