For the lentil pancakes, first drain the lentils and rinse them properly in a colander. Then cook them in a pan for about 20 minutes.

You can either fry the bacon cubes beforehand or let them infuse with the lentils. Add salt and pepper and finally let it cool down. When the mixture is cold, mix it with the flour and eggs to make a sticky mixture.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Take about 2 tablespoons full of mixture and press it into pancakes in the pan. Fry the lentil pancakes on both sides.
