Instructions:

Rinse kale in water bath and cut into tender strips.

Chop onion and garlic clove, sauté in oil for 2 min., add chopped kale with herbs, sauté briefly and douse with 1/2 cup water. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Season with the remaining ingredients. For the lentil burgers, cook the lentils in 1 cup of water and the bay leaf spice for 10 minutes until al dente. Chop the shallot and parsley, mix with the slightly cooled lentils and the egg and season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Put one tbsp of lentils per burger in the frying pan, smooth it a tiny bit and fry on both sides at a good temperature for 3 min. until crispy. For the cheesy potatoes, remove the skins from the cooked, peeled potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Heat the vegetable soup. Melt the grits in a small amount of water and add to the vegetable soup. Add grated cheese and warm the potatoes in it. Fold in parsley and season with whipped cream, peppercorns and a pinch of nutmeg.
