1. soften lentils in a l of water with the lemon zest and spices for about 45 min 2. subsequently remove the spices 3. infuse basil in olive oil 4. chop onion and roast until soft 5. crush the cooked lentils, mix with basil oil, onion, freshly squeezed salt, garlic clove, honey and juice of one lemon.

Tip: Stock up on high-quality spices – it pays off!
