Instructions:

Open the cans with the lentils and put them in a large saucepan. Fill everything with water (about 4 fillings of a can). Simmer and season already with the clear soup. Chop the bell bell pepper, chop the peppers, chop the garlic cloves very finely, chop the canned tomatoes and then add everything together to the lentils in the saucepan. Stir, continue to lightly bubble.

Next, remove the peel from the potatoes and cut them into very small cubes, then roast them in a small amount of fat in a frying pan until brown (not too brown!), in between seasoning the potato pieces a little bit with salt. When the potato cubes have the right brownness, they are added to the lentils and other ingredients in the pot. Next, make the soup until the potatoes are cooked.

In the meantime, chop the herbs for the garnish and put them in a large enough bowl.

Cut the sausages into small slices and put them in a large enough bowl.

On top of this, melt the butter in the frying pan and dust in a tiny bit of flour until a creamy consistency forms. The potatoes are cooked, now carefully stir the butter-flour roux into the finished soup, briefly bubble again and it’s ready.

The kitchen herbs and the sausage slices are placed on the soup on the plate.

Bon appétit!

It can be served with any beverage.
