A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Separate eggs. Beat egg yolks with water, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Whip egg whites with salt until stiff. Mix flour with starch, baking powder and cocoa, sift and fold into the egg yolk cream. Form the dough on a baking tray lined with baking foil and bake in the heated oven at 200 degrees (gas: level 3) on the middle shelf for about 12 minutes. Turn the sponge out onto a kitchen towel, roll up and cool.

For the filling, mash pineapple pieces with orange liqueur. Mix cream cheese with milk and juice of one lemon until smooth and season with sweetener.

Unroll the sponge from the crockery, spread with pineapple puree and spread cream cheese evenly on top. Repeatedly roll up the sponge, cool and bring to the table dusted with powdered sugar.
