For the Linz cookies, prepare a shortcrust pastry from the ingredients listed and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Take out, roll out and cut out desired motifs. Make a hole in half of them.

Bake at 180°C for about 12 minutes. Watch the browning so they don’t get too dark. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Spread jam on each whole cookie and place one with hole on top. Let dry a bit and put in a cookie tin.
