For the Leberkästascherl in cheese sauce, first prepare the potato dough according to the basic recipe.

Wash, dry and finely chop the herbs. Cut the liver cheese into small cubes. Mix and season well with salt and pepper.

Roll out the potato dough thinly and cut out circles about 4-5 cm in size. Place some meatloaf filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough into a semicircle and press the edges firmly.

Bring water to a boil, add salt, then turn down the heat and let the patties steep in it for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan, stirring constantly, until a creamy cheese sauce is formed. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Brown some butter in a pan and fry the liver cheese patties in it.

Serve the liver cheese patties in cheese sauce.
