Instructions:

Toddlers love pasta! Especially clever in this new favorite dish:

The vegetables are hidden under crispy cheese and are thus eaten without noodles 1. Cook noodles in boiling hot salted water for about 8 minutes. Clean the leek, rinse and cut into fine rings. Pre-cook in a little boiling hot salted water for about 10 minutes. Rinse tomatoes and cut into slices.

Separately, drain the pasta and leek well.

Mix eggs and milk. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Form half noodles close together in a greased gratin dish (approx. 20 x 25 cm). Spread half leek and about one third egg milk evenly on top. Top with slices of ham. Layer remaining noodles, leek and tomatoes on top. Pour remaining egg milk on top. Bake in a heated oven (EHerd: 200 °C /Umluft: 175 °C /Gas: level 3) for about 45 minutes. If necessary, cover with aluminum foil or parchment paper after half an hour. Garnish with parsley.

Tip: It’s best to use your favorite ham – then your dish tastes twice as good!
