Instructions:

Heat the milk, stir the yolks and powdered sugar until thick and creamy. Add the yolk-sugar mixture to the warm milk and heat while stirring.

Be careful that the mixture does not begin to boil, otherwise the yolk will set. Heat the milk-sugar-yolk mixture until it becomes thick and creamy.

Soak raisins in rum and add rum raisins to milk mixture.

Pour mixture into an ice cream maker or freeze in the freezer.

Serve the ice cream as desired.
