Instructions:

For the minced loaves with paprika sauce, peel, wash and finely dice the onion. Peel and finely chop the garlic clove. Whisk the egg with vegetable broth and soak the dumpling bread with it. Put minced meat in a bowl and knead well with onion, egg-bread mixture, mustard, parsley, garlic clove, salt and pepper and let stand covered for 30 minutes. Form 6 loaves from the dough mixture with moistened hands.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the loaves in it over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

For the bell pepper sauce, peel, wash and dice the onion. Peel and finely chop the garlic clove. Peel the peppers, cut them in half, remove the seeds and white skins and cut them into small pieces. Heat vegetable oil in a pot and fry the onion cubes in it. Add bell pepper pieces and garlic and fry briefly. Deglaze with vegetable stock. Mash the tomatoes with a fork and add. Stir in thyme, season with salt and pepper and simmer covered for 15 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and finely puree the bell pepper sauce with a blender. Pour in whipping cream, add peppercorns and bring to a boil. If necessary, season the sauce again with salt and sugar. Serve minced meatballs with paprika sauce.
