For minced pineapple balls, season the minced meat with salt, pepper and thyme leaves (finely chopped).

Peel and chop the spring onion and garlic and add.

Mix everything well with breadcrumbs and egg and season with salt and pepper.

Take the pineapple out of the can (or peel and slice a fresh pineapple). Portion the individual slices into small, bite-sized pieces.

Coat the pineapple with the minced mixture and form into small balls. Put them out of an aluminum cup and brush them with a little oil.

Grill on the grill for about 10 minutes until the pineapple balls get a nice color.

A perfect snack to start the barbecue!
