Put minced meat in a large bowl, make a well in the middle and put egg in it

Peel the onion, chop it and put it together with breadcrumbs in the ratio (1:2) over the meat, add spices.

Mix everything well with your hands (100 g minced meat, 50 g breadcrumbs…) and form a roast.

If there is too much breadcrumbs in the mixture, the meat will fall apart, if there is too little, it can be formed too well.

Meanwhile, cut the ham and cheese into 6-10 cm long sticks. Shape 3 or more sticks like a loaf.

Sprinkle the outside of the roast with breadcrumbs and roll it in the breadcrumbs again. This is what makes a good crust! The breadcrumbs on the outside and the lard underneath.

Put the roast in a roasting pan with 2 tablespoons of lard in the preheated oven and wait until the crust is ready.

First at 200°C, later reduce to 160 °C.

Take out the roast and cut it into slices. Serve with potatoes.
