Instructions:

Soak the white beans overnight.

Finely chop the onion and fry it together with the crushed garlic clove and the breakfast bacon in the hot oil. Add the beans as well as the water or beef broth and make at moderate temperature for 1 1/2 hours.

Add the rest of the vegetables, except the cabbage, and do another 20 min. Add a little more water if necessary. Add the cabbage and macaroni to the soup and cook both until tender. Season to taste and add salt if necessary. When serving, sprinkle chopped parsley and grated Parmesan over the soup.

You can change the taste a little bit by adding a little bit of red wine together with the vegetables.

Our tip: use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
