Instructions:

For the mint syrup, boil water and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Wash and peel the limes and throw the peel into the water, then squeeze the fruit and add the juice and the plucked mint leaves to the sugar water.

Cover and let steep for about 2 hours. Then strain the liquid, boil it and pour the mint syrup into a pretty bottle.
