Instructions:

For the mocha chocolate doughnuts, knead flour, butter, eggs, mocha and sugar into a smooth shortcrust pastry.

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for about 2 hours.

In the meantime, roughly chop the chocolate, bring the whipping cream to the boil, remove from the heat and dissolve the chocolate coating in it. Allow the cream to cool.

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of 3 mm and cut out round cookies with a cookie cutter (5 cm Ø).

Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Use the now spreadable cream to fill the cookies. Use the white chocolate icing to make dots on the mocha chocolate doughnuts and top each with a mocha bean.
