For the Mother’s Day surprise dessert, first bake the sponge cake. For this, beat the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until foamy, then stir in the flour, baking powder, cocoa and oil and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 8 minutes.

For the cream, mix the yogurt, curd, vanilla, sugar or honey together and pour into a piping bag. When the sponge has cooled, cut out circles with the jar in which the surprise will go.

Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out two more hearts for garnish later. Then first fill some berries into the glass, then some cream, then a cookie slice, then again berries, cream, cookie….

Finally, put a nice cream Hauberl on top, sprinkle with vanilla and put the Biskuit Herzerl as a crowning glory on the surprise!
