Preheat the oven to 160 °C hot air.

In one bowl, sift the baking powder into the flour. In the second bowl, mix the sugar, egg, yogurt and vanilla.

Roughly mix this mixture with the flour, do not mix until fluffy, otherwise the muffins will not be fluffy.

Pour the muffin batter into the buttered or muffin paper lined muffin pan. Fill only two-thirds full, as the muffins are still rising.

Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes.

Allow to cool slightly and then remove from the baking tray.
