Instructions:

Rub pork chops with garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat half of butter and quickly sear chops on both sides. Place side by side in an ovenproof dish. Heat the remaining butter, finely chop the onions, slice the mushrooms and fry everything together. Stir in white wine, whipping cream and breadcrumbs and bring the sauce to the boil briefly. Pour the mushroom mixture over the chops, sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven until the cheese is light brown.
