Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Heat the milk in a small saucepan and mix with yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Sprinkle a little flour on top and let the dampfl rise, covered, in a warm place until cracks appear. Then mix the flour with the baking powder and mix with the dampfl and the remaining ingredients to form an elastic dough. Shape into a ball, brush with liquid ghee and let rise, covered, for at least 1 hour until its volume has increased significantly. Now knead the dough again and divide into 4 pieces. Press or roll out to the typical oval, teardrop shape and sprinkle one side with sesame seeds. Heat a heavy or coated pan very high. Insert the first loaf and fry briefly on both sides (1-2 minutes total) until the flat is browned. Wrap in aluminum foil and keep warm. Bake the remaining loaves in the same way and serve quickly.
