For the oriental chai roast apple, first preheat the oven to 180 °C convection oven.

Chop the figs into small pieces, chop the pistachios coarsely if necessary.

Knead the marzipan with figs, pistachios and chai spice.

Wash the apples, remove the core and remove some of the flesh all around. Do not pierce all the way through so that the filling does not ooze out at the bottom.

Place in a baking dish.

Pour the filling into the apples.

Bake oriental chai baked apple for about 30-40 minutes until the apple is soft.
