For the potato buttermilk soup peel and dice potatoes and cook them with a bay leaf, salt, pepper and nutmeg in a little water for 20 minutes.

Then mash the potatoes in it. Pour in buttermilk and whipping cream and bring to a boil while stirring.

Thicken the soup with cornflour until it has the right consistency and season again with salt and pepper.
