If you’re in a hurry, you can bring the waffles to the table without toppings or possibly with fresh herb curd. Mix the potato powder according to the package directions. Peel, halve and finely dice the onion, fold in with the basil, swell.

Always grease the waffle iron with olive oil and bake the waffles in order until golden brown. Rinse the tomatoes thoroughly. Remove the stalk. Cut tomatoes into slices. Cut mozzarella into cubes.
