Clean the pointed cabbage, cut in half and discard the stalk. Cut the cabbage into thin strips. Peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté the onion cubes in the hot butter until soft. Add the pointed cabbage and the dill seeds. Fold in the crème fraîche, season with salt and season with pepper. Steam everything in a closed saucepan for about six minutes until soft.

In the meantime, rinse the plaice fillet, dry it, cut it in half, season with salt and very lightly with pepper. Place the fish pieces on the cabbage and continue steaming for another six minutes. Cook the mashed potatoes with the milk according to the package instructions. Season with grated nutmeg. Rinse the dill, shake dry and chop.

Mix the dill into the pointed cabbage and season. Arrange the fish on the vegetables. Serve with the mashed potatoes.
