Try this delicious cake recipe:

Place salt, flour, sugar and egg in a large enough bowl, spread mrgarine or possibly butter evenly over the top in flakes and knead everything together. Put dough dumpling with closed lid in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour.

Meanwhile, rinse the plums, cut in half and remove the seeds. Grease the baking tray. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Roll the short pastry onto the pre-greased baking tray. Prick a few times with a fork. Pre-bake for 20 minutes (gas: level 3). Then remove from heat, turn heat to 175 degrees.

For the almond glaze, whip the egg whites until stiff. Beat sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, salt until creamy. Add egg yolks and lemon zest. Put the snow on the cream. Sprinkle almond kernels and cornstarch on top and fold in. Spread the mixture evenly on the short pastry base and place the plum halves on top.

Bake for about 35 minutes on the lowest rack.

Heat jam, spread through a sieve and spread on plums on the spot after baking.
