Instructions:

Roast the almond kernels in a dry frying pan until golden, halve the plums, remove the seeds and score them, break the marzipan paste into small pieces, mix with butter, sugar and 1 pinch of salt until creamy, stir in the eggs, mix the flour with the baking powder and the almond kernels and fold in. Grease juice pan, spread batter evenly on it and top with plums.

Bake for 30-35 min at 200 °C (convection oven 175 °C , gas 3), 2nd rack from the bottom. Sprinkle the hot cake with hail sugar.
